Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Australia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Apple prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Australia that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within A$3.31 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 14 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a apple sub-ohm kit really costs in Australia
Apple prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Australia that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within A$3.31 per 10 ml.
How we tested apple in a sub-ohm kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Australia, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Australia, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every apple bottle shipped into Australia.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where apple goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised A$34 entry kit as the real cost when refills run A$3.31 per 10 ml.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Australia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Australia caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml outside legal prescription channels.

Frequently asked questions
Why does apple taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the apple blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to Australia?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On apple the budget price and the premium price can sit within A$3.31 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
