Citrus prefilled pod IQOS in Australia: the price shortlist
Citrus in Australia: 6 units tested over 4 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Australia.
Where buyers go wrong with citrus in Australia
Citrus in a prefilled pod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Australia the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Citrus sounds like one product. It is not: a prefilled pod running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long citrus tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a citrus prefilled pod really costs in Australia
Citrus in a prefilled pod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Australia the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested citrus in a prefilled pod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Australia, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every citrus bottle shipped into Australia.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Australia, not a suggestion.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why citrus tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long citrus in Australia survives.
- Mixing citrus with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Australia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Australia caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml outside legal prescription channels.
