Frozen pen device IQOS in Australia: the deals shortlist
Frozen in Australia: 14 units tested over 6 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Australia.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
The honest read on frozen: 14 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Frozen pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 14 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 14 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a frozen pen device really costs in Australia
Frozen in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Australia the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested frozen in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Australia, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Australia, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Australia accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why frozen tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for frozen in Australia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Australia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On frozen the budget price and the premium price can sit within A$2.49 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
Why does frozen taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the frozen blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should frozen start at?
Start at whatever Australia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
