Guava box mod IQOS in Australia: the cheap shortlist
Guava in Australia: 10 units tested over 4 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Australia.
Ordering IQOS to Australia: the practical version
Guava in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Australia the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Ordering into Australia usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: guava in Australia works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a guava box mod really costs in Australia
If you are looking at guava in Australia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested guava in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Australia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Australia, not a suggestion.
Where guava goes wrong
- Mixing guava with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised A$35 entry kit as the real cost when refills run A$3.55 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Australia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does guava taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the guava blend itself harsh.
How long does guava in a box mod last?
In Australia we measured 4 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
