Herbal prefilled pod IQOS in Australia: the order shortlist
Herbal in Australia: 23 units tested over 3 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Australia.
Ordering IQOS to Australia: the practical version
Herbal prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Australia that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within A$2.71 per 10 ml.
Herbal prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 23 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: herbal in Australia works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a herbal prefilled pod really costs in Australia
The honest read on herbal: 23 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested herbal in a prefilled pod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every herbal bottle shipped into Australia.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in Australia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Mixing herbal with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised A$59 entry kit as the real cost when refills run A$2.71 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for herbal in Australia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Australia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
