The honest read on iced: 16 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 16 units, 30 ml shortfill, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a iced 30 ml shortfill really costs in Australia
Most people searching IQOS in Australia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested iced in a 30 ml shortfill
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Australia, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in Australia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
Where iced goes wrong
- Treating the advertised A$51 entry kit as the real cost when refills run A$2.2 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Australia accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Australia caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml outside legal prescription channels.
Packaging for iced in Australia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

| Nicotine ceiling | 20 mg/mL | Legal retail limit in Australia |
| Coil life | ~6 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Australia | 4–9 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | A$51 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | A$2.2 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Australia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 4–9 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does iced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the iced blend itself harsh.
How long does iced in a 30 ml shortfill last?
In Australia we measured 9 to 16 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
