Pear box mod IQOS in Australia: the price shortlist
Pear in Australia: 8 units tested over 8 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Australia.
Ordering IQOS to Australia: the practical version
Pear sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Pear in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Australia the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: pear in Australia works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear box mod really costs in Australia
If you are looking at pear in Australia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested pear in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into Australia.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Australia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where pear goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Australia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Australia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

| Nicotine ceiling | 20 mg/mL | Legal retail limit in Australia |

| Entry kit | A$53 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | A$2.92 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Australia: about A$2.92 per 10 ml liquid plus A$53 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On pear the budget price and the premium price can sit within A$2.92 per 10 ml once 4–9 business days is counted.
