Plain in Australia: 20 units tested over 9 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Australia.
How we tested Plain vape pen here
Most people searching IQOS in Australia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Ordering into Australia usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, vape pen, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plain vape pen really costs in Australia
A plain vape pen from the pre-order options in Australia costs about A$3.18 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested plain in a vape pen
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in Australia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into Australia.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where plain goes wrong
- Treating the advertised A$51 entry kit as the real cost when refills run A$3.18 per 10 ml.
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest vape pen available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
