Plum cartomizer IQOS in Australia: the cheap shortlist
Plum in Australia: 10 units tested over 3 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Australia.
Delivery, returns and what 4–9 business days really means
Plum cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
A plum cartomizer from the cheapest options in Australia costs about A$2.45 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plum cartomizer really costs in Australia
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Australia that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within A$2.45 per 10 ml.
How we tested plum in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Australia, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where plum goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in Australia stocks.
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Australia survives.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Australia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Australia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
