Salted RDA IQOS in Australia: the wholesale shortlist
Salted in Australia: 21 units tested over 9 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Australia.
Choosing a RDA for salted
Most people searching IQOS in Australia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Salted in Australia reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the bulk ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: salted in Australia works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted RDA really costs in Australia
Salted in a RDA is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Australia the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested salted in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Australia, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Australia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where salted goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised A$39 entry kit as the real cost when refills run A$3.3 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Australia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Australia caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml outside legal prescription channels. Shipping of nicotine to Australia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Australia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

| Nicotine ceiling | 20 mg/mL | Legal retail limit in Australia |
| Coil life | ~4 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Australia | 4–9 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | A$39 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | A$3.3 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |
