Where buyers go wrong with salted in Australia
Most people searching IQOS in Australia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Ordering into Australia usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Below is the run we did for this search: 14 units, zero-nicotine bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a salted zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Australia
Salted in a zero-nicotine bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Australia the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested salted in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Australia, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Australia, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Australia.
- Coil type inside the zero-nicotine bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where salted goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a zero-nicotine bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised A$44 entry kit as the real cost when refills run A$2.36 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Australia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Australia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Australia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
