Sour disposable vape IQOS in Australia: the cheap shortlist
Sour in Australia: 23 units tested over 9 weeks, disposable vape formats, priced per 10 ml for Australia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the sour habit
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Australia that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within A$3.34 per 10 ml.
Most people searching IQOS in Australia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: sour in Australia works if the disposable vape, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour disposable vape really costs in Australia
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Australia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested sour in a disposable vape
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Australia, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for disposable vape in Australia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a disposable vape arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where sour goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest disposable vape available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a disposable vape and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Australia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Australia caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml outside legal prescription channels.
