Sour squonk mod IQOS in Australia: the flat shortlist
Sour in Australia: 11 units tested over 7 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Australia.
What the label on Sour is allowed to say
We run sour the same way in Australia: same squonk mod, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
A sour squonk mod from the flat-rate options in Australia costs about A$1.94 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour squonk mod really costs in Australia
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Australia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested sour in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Australia, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Australia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 4–9 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where sour goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sour in Australia survives.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Australia stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Australia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Australia caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml outside legal prescription channels.
Packaging for sour in Australia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
