Sour squonk mod IQOS in Australia: the online shortlist
Sour in Australia: 9 units tested over 3 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Australia.
Choosing a squonk mod for sour
Ordering into Australia usually means waiting 4–9 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
We run sour the same way in Australia: same squonk mod, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: sour in Australia works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour squonk mod really costs in Australia
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Australia that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within A$2.39 per 10 ml.
How we tested sour in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 4–9 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sour bottle shipped into Australia.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Australia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where sour goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Australia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Australia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Australia caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml outside legal prescription channels. Shipping of nicotine to Australia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
