Ordering IQOS to Australia: the practical version
Tropical in Australia reaches the shelf in 30 ml shortfill formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Tropical in Australia reaches the shelf in 30 ml shortfill formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tropical 30 ml shortfill really costs in Australia
Tropical sounds like one product. It is not: a 30 ml shortfill running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested tropical in a 30 ml shortfill
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Australia, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Australia, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into Australia.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a 30 ml shortfill that then needs an adapter nobody in Australia stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Australia accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Australia caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml outside legal prescription channels.
Retail sales in Australia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
