Tropical sub-ohm kit IQOS in Australia: the compare shortlist
Tropical in Australia: 24 units tested over 9 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Australia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Tropical sub-ohm kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
A tropical sub-ohm kit from the compared options in Australia costs about A$2.28 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tropical sub-ohm kit really costs in Australia
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Australia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested tropical in a sub-ohm kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Australia, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Australia caps nicotine at 20 mg/ml outside legal prescription channels. Shipping of nicotine to Australia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for tropical in Australia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Australia?
Yes, tracked to 4–9 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How long does tropical in a sub-ohm kit last?
In Australia we measured 9 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
