Vanilla pen device IQOS in Australia: the guide shortlist
Vanilla in Australia: 14 units tested over 4 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Australia.
Where buyers go wrong with vanilla in Australia
Vanilla pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 14 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Vanilla sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 14 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a vanilla pen device really costs in Australia
A vanilla pen device from the starter options in Australia costs about A$2.76 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested vanilla in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Australia, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a vanilla bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long vanilla in Australia survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why vanilla tastes flat after two days.
